The  Witching  Hour  (2013)

The centerpiece of this display was a 9-foot witch, who I called Hekate, based on the three-faced Greek goddess of magic, crossroads and necromancy. I aimed to make a stylized monster, and Hekate had a long face, long warty noses, and missing or shared eyeballs. I was concerned it might be too grotesque so I gave her pointy hat and a smile to appease parents of younger tots. Then made a pumpkin monster for her cauldron which was even more frightful. Sorry (not sorry).
